Passions of Italy My paintings express the joy and stirring beauty of the historical scenes of Italy . The rhapsody of colours and textures found in its countryside and picturesque cities captivate me. As the country oozes romance it’s easy to fall in love with the passion clearly exhibited in all it’s facets of architecture. The stories her historic views tell, evoke such visual and emotional impact it entices the viewer to journey there. I have chosen slices of Italy for my paintings, a door here, a little street there and of course that ever fascinating Venice.
