Biography of an Artist


Judith McCarvell began her art career at Mohawk College enrolled in the commercial art program. Her abilities as an artist were immediately recognized by others as Judith won a school-wide design competition for a corporate logo.

Judith went on to creating Architectural renderings for private clients and small builders.

She then furthered her education by earning Kitchen and Bath Design certificates from the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA).

Judith’s artistic talent and training led her into a successful interior design career where she was awarded an impressive 11 design awards including the NKBA’s prestigious ‘Top Designer in Canada’ Award.

Judith’s designs were sought after by a variety of clients and her expertise the focus of numerous professional magazines and newspapers. She served as an elected member of the NKBA board as well as volunteering for a variety of art associations.

Judith also wrote and taught a new curriculum for Kitchen and Bath Design at the Sheridan College in Oakville.

In parallel with her career in interior design Judith has expressed her passion for painting in a variety of subjects and mediums. She enjoys painting scenery depicting casual, calm, serenity. She especially enjoys scenery and architecture and often uses it as a common theme in her paintings. It is this passion that has led her to share her artistic endeavors with the public. Judith is attaining the next level in her career with a variety of Exhibitions and Galleries.
